Come Sofly

Just a few minutes The soft cymbals play As raindrop absorb Rhythm in tune they stay Bamboo windchimes Give a hollow voice An occasional acorn Lends noise not by choice Raindrops increase Their clicking sound It is now rushing down Damp and cold pouring around Birds not making sound There are no crickets chirping Today only cars and planes Coming this way Raindrops linger on trees And shrubs water gathered For next summer's doves Good day for soup and love
