Come On Take Your Shot
I slipped on a teardrop and landed on my butt
All because they said I couldn't make the cut
I wanted to sing, I wanted to dance
Finally I had my one and only chance
The judges put me down
And I began to frown
I walked out the door with my head hanging low
I walked down the street as time went by slow
I was struck deep to the heart
Because I thought I was art
But nothing seems to be clear
I'm completely out of cheer
But even though I failed
Doesn't mean that I bailed
Because my passion is a force that will never stop
Tomorrow I will wake up and get right back on top
So it doesn't matter who you are
Anyone can rise to be a star
And it doesn't take a lot
So come on take your shot
