Come Home

Restless, Im alone Wishing you were here Baby just come home 1700 miles away from my arms But only a breath away from my heart The sun is darkened by the clouds Only your smile could bring it out It brings out the happiness in me The hope that others refuse to see I just wish you'd come home to me Childhood taught us lessons It showed you what you did wrong But we're not children No we're not children anymore So open up your eyes Wake from your dreams tonight Tell me that you love me That I wont be alone That soon you'll be here Baby tell me that your coming home

this one adds more light to the second one you wrote that I read first. Both are splendid.

I like how you put accountability on childhood - a terrible hunger isn't it - at least you've got the heart to know you need - 1700 miles, I can run longer than that - a beautiful sensativity Jay -
