Come and Find Me In My Solitude
Please, come and find me in my solitude
I will welcome your heart's uplifting soul
You, a dreamer of passion's interlude
Me, a pragmatic fool you can console
In meadows of my mind winds turned silent
And the sun has set on my times of joy
I've sought out spaces where all seems quiet
And listened to my heart's solemn envoy
Would you bring music to this silent friend
And show my spirit how to laugh again?
Will you give me smiles from your hands to lend
And offer light before the dark closes in?
I was but a wanderer, now alone
I bear the weight of loneliness, I own
