Colors of Love
Flipping albums, moments color and monochrome
holding hands in parks, rolling in warm sands
fifty green velvety wedded springs breezed by
thousands orange west suns bade goodnight
laying at the tremulous autumn of life
clear blue skies in the window mock mottled skin
crimson rose blooming in the pot hurts frail eyes
the unbroken promise of love still shines in
the silver of unkempt hair
as she bends to tuck him in
black of limpid eyes behind glasses
as she slowly trims his nails.
