Color My World

Color my world with your own, somewhere over these city streets Let me find a brook, a stream, a creek For Christ knows how I prayed to be meek I don't need money to be happy, maybe a new dress to make every now and then God, Color my world with your own, Let me find a hill to stand on and smell the Spring rain and watch everything turn green; a place to get the rest that I need Though today the valley seems so near Merciful God With Us, Color my world with what you think is best Let my God Given name, not find fame that would shame ~ in my prayers I pray for a man to share my all Let me look to the sky and know that I'm alright The sun's brightness comes now, and the rain with a bit of chill Color my world Oh God, if this is all I am to see I am thankful for the breath you still give to me
