Collage
There is a wit where ideas urge,
In simple bits where pictures merge.
Now piece by piece stray image comes,
A sense of ease frames form that sums.
Let fancy guide that inspired lot,
Watch art abide in touch and plot.
Wave of sure thought in collage craft,
Feed feel and blot to shape bold draft.
Each to a part that shapes new tense,
Art in fond start can now make sense.
First the rough plan and then the fit,
Pieces can blend in surge of wit.
Amass old prints to cut-and-paste,
Shape a new mint from useless waste.
This collage wears a brand new high,
Shape now can bear a crafted sigh.
Just for a while, pictures edge words,
Images smile and form is heard.
