Collaboration Contest

No Looking Back Morning light breaks through my trance...as your loving words float off into the wind...like a kaleidoscope of butterflies, flashing before my eyes. Too many forgotten words... long after the euphoria of your first caress. Your eager fingers playing smoothly along my nerve ends...like a magical moonlight sonata lain out on an ethereal keyboard. Droplets of musky perspiration trailing down your chest... lips, those precious lips, following into the glistening valley of desire...as a blue haze of passion is thrown to never ending heights. Side by side two lost souls passing in the night...grasping seeking solace one more time, holding each other tight. Silent as a whisper... I slipped away not looking back at your slumbering form I knew I could not stay in the safety of your arms I could not endanger your life again. Penned 4 July 2017

Seren, deeply passionate but the last line could make this the first paragraph of a suspense novel.

The end is driving me insane... go back! The danger lies in NOT having such love. Seriously, you two wrote a beautiful, if somewhat sorrowful night of passion that fits perfectly with the sonata.

Seren, you and Tim did a masterful job with this piece. It is heavy, in a good way, deep and affecting. The emotions are evident as are the facets that lead to the ending decision. Great job bot poets. Best wishes in the contest.
