Cold Wet Streets
The streets are blessed with a cold wet glaze
The occupants walk slowly
The rain lasts long and the wind blows strong
People move along very lowly
The streets are blanketed with water
If you’re not careful you’ll fall
The wind blows strong and the rain lasts long
Light reflects from the ground growing tall
The streets are littered with many folks
All moving from place to place
The rain lasts long and the wind blows strong
If you look close you can see your face
The streets are slick and cars move slowly
Avoiding all the people
The wind blows strong and the rain lasts long
Wind making sure that you are loyal
The streets are beautiful this evening
Sight is truly wonderful
The rain lasts long and the wind blows strong
Tonight the air is quite meaningful
