Cold Hot Cold and Red
I have no desire to make my way to Mars.
Even though I've been told men are from there.
I would much prefer to stay home and view the stars.
On the red planet do men sit in lonely Bars?
A place devoid of women with whom would I share?
I have no desire to make my way to Mars
I much prefer green space without so many cars.
The world is so busy and filled with so much despair.
I would much prefer to stay home and view the stars.
Perhaps we are all like experiments in jars.
Unlike you for this small red planet I don't care!
I have no desire to make my way to Mars!
If I go to the red planet I'll see it's scars.
Maybe I'll even discover how they got there.
I would much prefer to stay home and view the stars
You tell me one day that we may be killed by SARS.
The answer to all our woes you think is out there.
I have no desire to make my way to Mars.
I would much prefer to stay home and view the stars!
This was a tough form to write a Mars poem, I hope I did it justice.
For Joe Maverick's Mars contest.
