Coffee Aroma
Blurry morning rising,
Sleepy thoughts preside;
Arise still dreaming,
Drowsy feel abides.
Sleepy eyes focus,
Unsure steps greet floor;
Move in slow locus,
Find unopened door.
Slide the dark hallway,
Feel mid-sleep motion;
Light ushers new day,
Seeds new commotion.
Scent of espresso,
Bringing life to me;
Coffee greets "Hello!"
Morning chemistry.
Bitter tasty treat,
Coffee aroma;
Brown brew helps me meet
New day's agenda.
