Coexist

Sweet and sour, Every minute of every hour, Build up my confidence, Before it devours. Breaking me apart, By piecing together my heart, For there is this rumor, My soul is brutally scarred. But..is it really a rumor? It's augmented like a tumor, It transcends through space, All crystallized and lunar. For all the insane recollections, Remembrance of my intuitions, They say, “Follow your yellow brick road”, Why do I feel so insufficient? My yellow path has gone astray, Full of confusion and disarray, I've fallen in that deep dungeon, It's the predator and I'm the prey. Sitting on the ol' park bench, My teeth, they start to clench, My insides are twisting, For how I wished I felt quenched. So... I'll blow one more kiss, While the clouds turn and twist, High winds blustering, Why can't we just coexist? Oh-to be one with the earth, We can all start re-birth, All bleeding together, Each expressing our personal worth. Pack my bag and leave real soon, Try to run from the treacherous typhoon, I'll run into the sunset, Until I land on the moon.
