Cocoon
I want to hide in my little space
Where no one can see my many fears
Where no one can read my real story
Where no one can touch my pain
I want to just hide, like I used too
Numb and dumb, like they used to see
Numb and tied in my own shackles
That brought me joy and escape
Alone and lone in my own world
That gave me peace that no human could
Because sometimes flying never took me anywhere
