zephyr winds blowing clouds kiss gently when they meet romance in the air Contest: Poetry Writing#1 Sponsor Broken Wings Jan Allison 12th December 2015 I had never written a haiku before joining poetry soup in February 2014. I love the traditional format of 5, 7, 5 syllables and the fact so few words can create such wonderful images in your mind.

Hi Jan, well i don't need to tell you that i Love Haiku. I still don't know what it is but they do pull me in. This is an excellent Haiku, tightly tied together in the true form of 5,7,5. It gives the whole vision. The Haiku that sings Love. A seven and a fave. Your pen still flows gold Jan....Vladislav.

As one who is NOT good with this form, I appreciate a good haiku--know one when I see one. This one's good. Congratulations--Janice

aww Laura I never know if I have actually written a proper haiku or not - I have had three published in haiku journals. I set a challenge to our 6th form creative writing group with 5 7 5 syllables but called the form 'three line poetry' as I struggle to know if what I have written is correct:-) hugs jan xx

Zephyr has a hand in instigating romance among the clouds...he has taken over Cupid's job! A delightful three liner, Jan. Hugs // paul
