Clouded Minds

Clouded is our minds. In this chaos that goes worldwide. No human is spared, Children too are nowadays scared Pure childhood fun not to be seen, Rock heavy schoolbags, Options to select, choices to reject! Schools nowadays - the burdens and tuitions they bring, The parents graduate again too with the kids ! College which one, where to go, Even selecting your bf/gf is quite a chore. Nothings seems simple anymore Life no longer seems to be on your side, when clouded are our minds. The gods above are also entwined, Their problems now are now ten fold not twice or thrice, from this human race that seeks every time the divine, for each and every new problem which the gods cant seem to keep up with or classify! How easy going life was, a few years on the rewind, When career and a decent house were a bit easier to find. When a square feet of home was affordable, now its piegon holes if they are to be defined. Sometimes you wonder who brought about this situation, Is it self made or just because of our aspirations? Is this race responsible for this condition, Where all we do is seek and collect More than basic need, more that we later regret? Of simple things we left behind In this clouded state of our minds. The winter breeze -soothing and cool Rare as this one is, but its here for sure Wish it can play a magic or two Clear the clouds in people's minds Make them relaxed and make them smile Slow down the rush, the daily grind, Bring some happiness for these worried minds. But alas, the mad race intensifies, No respite for human kind ! I think we have made it a part of our lives, that its ok... if we have clouded minds.
