Closer
All of my life,
I tried to change myself to suit others around me.
I didn't know who I was.
I was like a chameleon.
I was living a life of misery.
THEN, THERE YOU WERE!
You entered into my life like a mighty gush of wind.
You accepted me for who I was,
all I had to do was repent of my sins.
I'm growing closer and closer to You, each and every day.
Whenever I grow weary,
You lift me up.
Whenever I get tired of fighting,
You carry me the rest of the way.
Use me for Your Glory Father.
Mold me into the daughter You always wanted me to be.
Keep drawing me to You Lord.
ABOVE ALL THINGS,
I ask You for just a closer walk with Thee.
