Closed For Business
Empty shelves and stock to take.
We close the doors for our own sake.
No rhyme or reason, not a mistake.
Sometimes you need to take a break.
What can you gain by shutting down.
When you can't even buy a noun.
And clouds are all that you can see.
Sometimes you need to let it be.
The morning mist has even dried.
It's like my muse has up and died.
And my soul search is all but over.
But I'm not ready to lay in clover.
I'd like to tell you what I'd like to say.
But censor's won't let me have my way.
So see ya' later alligator.
For I'm a lover, not a hater.
