Closed Doors
It wasn't right, treating us the way you did.
Just because you could,
And I, the only one who stood up to you,
Not that it did me any good.
You guilted me out of hobbies,
How dare I "waste our money,"
And when I took up cheerleading,
Oh, how you thought that was funny.
Instantly, I became a "snob".
You never failed, to call me names.
Part of your manipulation.
A favorite, of your games.
People call me "cold hearted"
Because I completely shut the door.
But I refuse to let your emotional abuse,
Control me anymore.
