Close Friendship

Close friendship Since I built a close friendship With Jesus; Now I am glad I did All my faults and shame I tried to keep them hid I went from day to day Wondering about my life I couldn’t put my finger on it; But I knew it wasn’t right One night I walked by my Bible Laying on the shelf I had to pick it up I couldn’t help myself I read about forgiveness I thought my faith was sealed Until I open my Bible And my soul began to heal I read about God’s love And the wages of sin Things began to open up And I found I had a friend He promise he would Never leave me Or be far away He said whenever I needed him Just bow my head and pray I built a close friendship with A man I came to know So now I take him with me Everywhere I go!!
