A spirited moon 'neath furtive glances, anguished mid despair looked upon hushed entangled constellations and heeded a warning, for he knew well of lavishing recherché intricacies, mattered naught how exquisite, nothing lasting could come of liaisons's effusive grandeur, betwixt clandestine stargazers

Well now, I certainly have to keep Webster nearby. I use the fictionary for my words;-) Sooner or later I'm going to put a finger on what grabs me about your breathesque style — or not. Nah, I'm a reader/absorber, not a thinkabouter/anal yzer. Digging it. ~j

For sure, stars can blind us to reality. But is anything we do or know ever more real and meaningful to us than the moment? I have missed many a glorious sunrise and sunset contemplating wisdom. Great writing!

Wisdom can be overrated, the young have the right idea when it comes to living for insatiable moments, we tend to lose that awe factor as we mature. Thanks Joe!

You certainly do have a unique way of saying things and I really enjoy reading your work because of that. I have not read another like you anywhere. I am very impressed. This poem has a beautiful flow to it but a dark underside kept peeking out as I read. This seems like an affair that had no chance of making it in the daylight.

Spot on, and unique? Most people say strange. :) Many thanks for your attentive and vibrant reviews Chris. You're good for my poetic ego. ;)
