City Night
Eclectic is the night, with its potpourri of smells and sounds...
A perfect muse on this lit, but dark, city street...
This town seems to change after the days' sun fades...
The streetlights bathe the place in a soft, dim glow...
No glare from the towering buildings' glass faces...
Music from the little clubs hustle with the sound of the traffic...
The streets are alive with night people conversing... Elaborating... Collaborating...
The vibe is unlike the uniform stream of daily workers occupying the day...
Most businesses are closed, with lights dimmed and out of sight...
Except for the fun ones, open just for the people of the night...
