Chromatic Blues

she said that yellow didn't suit said she was leavin' me to boot took all her shoes, of most the hues 'n' she left me nothin' but the blues her lighter smiled hues of amethyst, she left the blue but took the rest that purplish-red jus' left my head 'n' she left me nothin' but the blues her red soo hot, it fired my desire she took that too, no more to eye her ain't nothin to do - desire's taboo she's left me nothin' but the blues took her magenta in my absentia I came to empty home to find she crayoned me a goodbye memoranda left colored in the goodbye blues she said that emerald was her thing, the thing was, she liked the green took all our jack, 'n' left me slack she left me nothin' but the blues now she's gone like fifty shades hued ghostly remembrance slowly fades wishin' white was black won't get 'er back I'm left with nothin' but the blues © Goode Guy 2013-12-15
