Christmas Snow

Christmas snow flakes drift hanging snug against the window pane rising high and cold and swift it’s replacing autumn wind and rain silently invading the garden paths trembling softly on the tips of grass. messages of hope rise up in prayer an awaited promise time fulfilled at last soon a savior to behold within a manger there. Snow comes early, chilly at the start of winter tide nesting on the leaves and covering the pond with snow over shadowing the birth of flower bulbs as they hide whispering too soon and too early to grow.
