Listen to poem:
Christmas Eve Lights By Robert (Bob) Moore © 2015 I used to love the Christmas lights, on the houses in our street and when on every Christmas Eve, you’d wander round and meet all your happy neighbours, at least this one night of the year and they’d welcome you with mince pies, and other Christmas cheer It mostly has all gone now, the streets dark on that night a lot of houses that you pass, don’t even show a light is it ‘cause the kids have all grown up, or people moved away or is it that the spirits gone, and this is just another day You think the children would all have learned, from what their parents did and carry on tradition, and pass it to their kids so lets put the joy, and put the light, back in to Christmas Eve and have something to remember, long after we may leave It may be a full hung tree, or even just one light but it’s your way to celebrate, this very special night and show your joy of Christmas, a time of special cheer remembered all around the world, in countries far and near. <><><><><><><><><><>
