You hide away in summer When other blooms fill fields In a dark room you sit and wait 'Til Christmas time is here Is it the joy of Christ's birth That awakens a welcome stranger Do you peer out to see the light That hovers above His manger You are the only flower That seems to recognize The hope and peace in hearts And angelic carols in skies

Morning Carolyn... thankxxx for choosing Finale as one of your favorite poems... I am unfamiliar with how to list another poet's poetry as one of my favorites.. would u be so kind as to reply as to the steps to take to achieve this as you are one of my favorites and I would like to post that info.. by the way, your Christmas Cactus Mystery poem is beautiful.. if only more accepted the message as u state so beautifully in your poem.. outstanding write carolyn can smell the fresh scent of needles and can see it blossum when its at its peaks bet god flourishes it for own gift thansk for sharing and for your many many visits to my site will get back with ya soon just trying to get back in the step been so busy with music career and just haven't been much into writing anymore and not sure why probably just waiting to hit a jackpot lol
