Choices Are Not Always Easy
I wield compassion when I must,
At times, it's not always so easy.
God says to love, so my faith I trust,
Perfection will never be, A part of me.
To please so many, before myself,
Is sometimes daunting & unforgiving.
But you my darling, I love so much,
I hope one day you'll forgive me.
Life's great current has grab ahold,
It pulls me in a new direction.
I do not wish to be a second choice,
God will surely do right by thee.
So go out & live your life,
Live it, like there's no tomorrow.
And always remember when times get rough,
That I will carry you in my heart always.
