Now this is one soulful poem, Janis. Down home cooking for real. To any person who's never eaten chitterlings, here's something to give you a bit of culinary courage: Though the smell might kill your appetite. Be bold, take one taste and it will surely revive ... make you sing feast songs all night. Your poem makes me wanna post my poem, "Chitterlings and Me." Greeeaatt poem! Love and smiles.

Congrats on your winning Pleiades Christmas work..Way to go.. Food, fun, friends, and fellowship a Christmas treat..Sara ...I have heard many jokes about these and as far as I know I have never eaten any of them...

VERY descriptive poem Janis ...EWW it takes me back to my childhood - I could never eat them because they smelled so vile ... maybe now I could try them as I have changed my mind about blue cheese lol:-) hugs Jan ss
