Chillax Wait On the Lord

God did not give us the spirit of fear He gave us power, love and a sound mind Yet if you look at the nation today Those traits are hard to find The whole nation is uptight and in a state of despair The political climate is in a tenuous position And no solutions are apparent nor clear We have a clown named Donald Trump Who will now lead the nation But so far all he has done is insult the people and spout defamation He fails to understand nor does he seem to comprehend Is that we serve a Mighty God Who'll prevail in the end In the midst of stressful situations we need to look towards Christ For He is the light and the salvation for all lives Of whom shall I be fearful of None but Christ? Of whom shall I be afraid None but the Deliverer of life The Lord is my strength and with Him I chillax The Lord is my confidence for I know He has my back In the midst of the storms of life God will hold back the deluge In the midst of my enemies attacks God will be my refuge Chillax, wait on the Lord stay in commune with He Chillax, wait on the Lord He'll give you the victory God is of compassion God is love and care God will never forsake us God is always there Chillax, wait on the Lord He does hear you pray Chillax, wait on the Lord He'll respond in His own way Just don't always be asking sometimes just give Him thanksgiving Have an attitude of gratitude for all that to you He has given Now understand that evil lives and mean-spiritness is blanketing the nation Certain folks are just wicked with strength of determination But we serve a Mighty God Who has power, mercy and grace So chillax wait on the Lord For its He who runs this place Psalm 37: 7-9
