Child's Play

Childish giggles, From tummy tickles, Say "uncle" if you please. Tippy tippy toes, And "someone's got your nose", Grandpa likes to tease. Piggy back rides, And water slides, "I double dog dare you!" Barbie dolls, Bouncy balls, And Silly Putty, too. Hide and seek, "Don't you peek!" "You'll never find me here." Duck, duck, goose, My tooth is loose, The tooth fairy must be near. Swinging high, Up in the sky, "Hey there! Look at me!" Riding bikes, And flying kites, So much fun, you see. Monkey bars, And bumper cars, Somersaults on the grass. Memories, Are made of these, Hang on and make them last. 4/23/15

A wonderful poem of childhood innocence and fun! You included some of my favorite activities to do with my kids. Add some play-doh and itsy, bitsy spider, and I can call it a day! Hugs, Rhonda

I think I like this poem more today than I would have about two years ago...before I had a two year old. Those silly and fun games with her are my favorite part of being a dad. Thank you for this playful write, I truly enjoy this one. 7 from me. =)
