I try to show you the world, things of culture in the afternoon sun. Edinburgh Castle I say with glee...... "Look daddy a pond" is what you say to me. Look at these artefacts, they matter so much historically. Please pay attention to me. "But daddy there's a pond" "Snails live in the pond" you say. A trip to the museum to open your mind. Yet what is the most fascinating thing you can find? "Look daddy a Pond" is what you say. So much for culture, history, education. There's only one thing you want to do.......... "Lets look at the pond daddy", says you. Lets look at the pond instead of the boring old castle, its so much more fun and so much less hassle. Why have culture when you can have a pond? "Look Daddy a Pond", lets look at the pond" and of course I give in to you. "Come on daddy lets look at the pond..........."
