Cheers
To the choices I've made,
and the consequences that followed.
To the prices I've paid,
and the pride that I have swallowed.
To the wishes come and gone,
and the shift to ones more true.
To the dreams that prod us on,
and the will to see them through.
To the friends no longer here,
and the roads on which we met.
To the ones I still have near,
and the times not had just yet.
To the life I've so far had,
and the good as well as ill.
To the morrows in mystery clad,
and the pages those tales will fill.
