fully resigned to having Integrity

I so would love to pig out on a pepperoni pie
(as well as watch illegal dog fights held still on the sly)
yet what am I, a human of integrity, to do
in being capable of reasoning one and one is two --
aside from comprehending every doggy has a brain,
and therefore like each feeling human loathes the taste of Pain.

a dedication of Respect
for
the Pain of the Rationally Intelligent
few
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
speciesism --
the ideology of an IQ
less than a dog's
march, 2023 -- yet countless kittens
still eaten in China
on being boiled alive
