Changing Seasons

I walk outside and suddenly I feel upon my face the briskness of the cold winters breeze The wonderfulness of white snow now covers any evidence on the ground of falls' leaves I'm in an amazement of just what I have been through the last few years and how far I have actually come But I know my journey's not over yet realizing it also has not just begun I'm stuck here in the middle not sure which way to go My words to him need to be spoken and very much heard yet all is cold just like the winter wind and snow I need to see him so through my eyes he'll know I say what I mean and mean what I say when I say I love only him deeply so All my love towards him I have to show For him it took me so long to again find Now that I have I just can't leave what I feel for him once again behind So let the winter turn back into spring Let us see the flowers and rain showers that the season brings Then have spring bring in the summer days With the children outside having so much fun running around in play And then let it come around to the summer changing into fall The leaves turning wondrous colors and effortlessly flowing to the ground and we know what comes next yes everyone can recall Seasons come, seasons go but I'll still love him right through it all
