Changes

Summer has past through its hot sultry days of sun Now slowly the leaves turn glistening in hues of brown. The air sharpens and cools as the nights draw in faster. Grains glimmer ready now for plucking from their ears. Rich scents of sun ripened fruit hangs in the still air enticingly. The smells of lunch mingling to the heavily scented bouquet. Icy fingers of winter awake impatient to do their worst. Soon the lands will lie under a blanket of snow.

No one writes so vividly of nature as you do Shadow. Thank you so much for giving Andrea and my collaboration poem top honors. 7

Shadow, lovely poem, in my part of Canada we are in a heat wave so it is hard to imagine the snow, but it will here before we know it, it happens quickly and I want to thank you so much for the wonderful placement in your Partner Up contest, I am honored and was so happy to write with Eric, he is an amazing poet. I love the poem we created together.
