Chance
When flowers were growing no more,
No butterflies passing by,
Birds singing melodies anymore,
Nothing committed to its course
Creating feeling of emptiness,
As rain bids its farewell
Making them believe in the unbelievable,
Nature shifting its focus,
It became obvious
The 'odds are not in their favour',
Their fate will be decided by chance
Creating an odious situation,
No one ever dreamed about
Making oracles to go underground
Bothered by the embarrassment
Of failing to see beyond the ordinary,
In a world of mysteries
Hence, everyone decided to fold arms
Waiting for future to reveal itself,
While making a silent prayer
That it brings something to smile about
