Certain Things
Certain things must stay
under lock and key.
No one wants to know
who persecuted me.
Like a car crash or disaster,
we avert our eyes.
Must not lift the lid
on all those lies.
Bury hurt of twenty years
deep inside my heart.
Thought talking about it
would be a start.
