Yes, I can just see that oak - there's one near us from the 17th century - I really love it and have put it in several poems and stories. Is this a real tree in your haiku?

Nice descriptive writing. However, check the number of syllables in your first line. I count six which is one too many.

What an incredibly awesome write, full of delightfully natural parts of life! I love the image of the Spanish moss on the oak tree, that's really cool my friend!
