Caverns of the Mind

Deep and dark are the caverns of the mind, filled with memories of days gone by. Twisted thoughts of the things we left behind, all the painful things we try to hide inside. All these curving tunnels steering through our souls, funneling back our memories when we get so old. All of these old thoughts running through our minds, Awake or when we sleep, they take us back in time. We learn from our mistakes, that is what they always say. Our memories are there to help us some-how, someday. We live with twisted thoughts flowing through our minds, Flooded with memories of the things we try to hide.
