Cave In

Whisps of cloud finesse the air Intoxicated by the night Breathe deeply effervescent light From silver stars and empty stares And when the twilight fades to black And shades become reality The only Truth that I can see Is made by all that all things lack But in the daytime, light is cast Still burning from a paper sun The height and length our lives become Constricted from what was the past So here we evanesce to air Intoxicating shadows seen But mirrors of who I have been These holes for eyes, we try to care
