Caught With My Pants Down

I was content nursing my drink during a party when in came a gorgeous and stunning lady. Man, she is a knockout, I really must have her by hook or by crook, vowed the old-time hunter. Taking a quick look at myself in a corner mirror, combing my hair so not a strand was out of place, I approached the pretty chick, extending my hand, "Hello there, haven't we met somewhere before?" She gazed at me, head to foot, like I was insane, threw her sweetest smile, then hissed so softly, "I don't think so, buster, but it's a nice try anyway," and quickly turned her back on poor, pathetic me. Yikes, my pickup line didn't work for me somehow, I got caught in the harsh light with my pants down!
