Catkin Willow
Catkins, Catkins peek out your furry head
Upon the branchlet within the meadow
Remember curiosity killed the cat, stone dead
Nature's furry, cocoons upon the willow
Beat the leaf and spring shall come
As soon the tides of green will follow
Flowers show her your highest respect
On the gentle mind in awe of sallow
Catkins, catkins earnestly lead the season in
Please us with the freshest, your purring us affects
