Caterpillar
I'm a lonely caterpillar
And tree is my home
I'm a lonely caterpillar
I envy my fellow youngsters
I'm a lonely caterpillar
I watch them grow as adults
I'm a lonely caterpillar
And leaf dries my tears
As I watch them cast their beautiful wings
As I watch them soar up high
I can't help but sigh
I'm a caterpillar
And tree is my refuge
I'm a caterpillar
I wonder who I will be
I'm a caterpillar
I wonder what I will be
I'm a caterpillar
I wonder how long will it takes
To completely me become a butterfly
