Catch Me If You Can

Daphne a poodle is a very happy pup With a pom-pom tail and a button nose And two eyes filled with glee. Daphne is a pedigree, a breed with energy. She is made of curls from head to toe, And the color of honey gold. Daphne the poodle, she's lively as can be, For when she's given her favorite toy She begins to prance and play. Look at Daphne go, Running here and there and all around retrieving toys for you and me. Woof Woof Woof Woof Woof Woof Catch me if you can. She'll only pause a moment when she hears me holler, "Stop" Then she begins to prance and play again, running all around. Catch me if you can. (* Rhythmically read like "Frosty The Snowman") For the contest, 'Calling All Pets', Sponsored By SKAT-AB-SIN THE

Connie, this is my 13th time clicking on a poem and I just can't find one I have not commented to. haha. I feel like I need one of those divining rods but for finding poems I have never read. That would sure be an awesome feature of this poetry site!! Keep writing your cute poems such as this wintry delight!

Andrea sorry, I haven't been writing the last few weeks. I have to go into the hospital for another surgery August 23 rd. I haven't been up to writing. This surgery will be a long recovery. The rest of my cervical spine is going to be fused. I'll miss you and others here on PS. I've learned a lot from you Andrea. You take care my friend. You are an inspiration. Warm Smiles, Connie

Yes Deb I did. I started to grow out the lion style for my poodle, but it was too much work to trim and brush the mane. I cut my own poodle. I figured I cut people's hair I certainly can cut my Dog's. it take me about two hours to cut her. Warm Smiles Always, Connie

I was listening to the Frosty song on the radio and the tune wouldn't leave my mind. It was stuck there so I had to write this if not only to get the tune unstuck from my brain. It was a fun write I must say. Thanks for the congrats Andrea. Warm smiles always, Connie
