Cat In a Box
What is it with cats
and empty cardboard boxes?
I'm not quite sure where to begin,
they can tell at a glance that
there's nothing inside it
but still go ahead and climb in.
There's nothing to do in it,
no toys there for games,
but still, over two hours it's
been sat in,
my good lady asks
'why not throw it away?',
'I cant', I said,
'It's got our cat in'.
