Castles In the Sand
There were castles in the sand,
Built by young, nimble hands.
Thought we could stay in the castle forever, you and me.
But it all faded with every breaking wave from the sea.
Having nothing to worry about, we stared at the painted sky,
While our brain’s camera capture the seagulls flying high.
Thought this moment will stay forever; we’ll be stuck in this time frame.
But time flew, life changed and nothing seems the same.
Sometimes, I do see castles in the sand, oh what a blissful sight!
And it takes me back to the joyful days and dreamy nights.
I suddenly feel my long lost childhood is found,
As soon as I hear Poseidon’s wavy sound.
We are all in castles of sand,
Built by the Creator’s hands.
No one knows what’s in store for you and me,
So let’s live life before our castle fades away with the sea.
