Cascade Serenade

Cascade Serenade Surrounded by a forest of trees As a bastion from the outer realm An invisible glade that hides from man But fauna hear the distant sound Of water flowing effusively And from the acme, sanguined rocks A cascade streaming echoed chords Of music in the liquidly air Then to the nadir it descends Into a torrential waters rage To inundate the florid grass The moon creeps in and all is still Except the sound of crickets words Extolling nature with their praise (August 29, 2017) Your favorite poem from August 2017 Sponsored by Julia Ward August 2, 2018

This is so lovely, Ralph. I can see how you would have chosen it as your best from August! Sadly, I think the judge of this contest chose very few winners.
