Carly
just the other day
i was sat at the bar
you sat next to me
i asked how you are
i hadent seen you
for so long girl
its like my eyes
turned to perls
maby if i was a man about it
then i wouldnt shout about it
but baby
you nearly set me free
oh carly, why didnt you do that a year ago
oh carly, the hurt the boredom would have to go
oh carly, why didnt you come back a year ago
oh carly, i would of told you but you had to go
a few years ago
down the line
i could of said
you were a friend of mine
you were a waitress
i wass a cook
i suppose you could of been mine
but i wont pay that any mind
cos i know
its just a matter of time
oh carly, i wish id seen you a year ago
oh carly, i love to see your smile grow
oh carly, do you think i noticed when you had to go
oh carly, i would of told you but you had to go
oh carly, i should of listend a year ago
i should of known when you said she was a psyco
oh carly, things have changed since a year ago
oh carly, i should of told you before you had to go
