Cards of Life

CARDS OF LIFE We ought to be proud that we're still here, For many did leave us within months or few years they showed up; Surviving nine months in the belly of a woman, Showing up covered with blood in full form, Through the stages of growth, Withstanding and overcoming climatic conditions infused by illnesses and diseases. Now aged, seeing another process bloom; Looks on to retirement, being weaken by age. And last; groaning while crawling, pissing and excreting solid stuff on oneself; It seemed one does get shame at the end before the grave.
