Cancer
It is a fear like no other
A nightmare from which there is no waking
So I hide my fear deep
For it would spread like wild fire
There is only one cure
Pacified only by hugs and kisses
Anger is chained for there is no one to blame
Once I was strong
Now I watching her is my strength
Yet my fear lingers
Amongst the laughter and giggles of children
Excuse my words for I hide behind them
So I continue to hide my fear
Where she can not see
But alas we all know a fathers fear
I will die as I lived
Loving my Winter Rose
Dedicated to those who have and are fighting cancer
