Can You Hear Them Calling

Open your eyes, it’s time to start the day. Listen, do you hear? Birds are singing and they ask for you. Shake off sleep and dress. Meet them where sun is shining and wind is blowing. Wipe the gaze from your eyes for they won’t be there long. Will you make them wait a minute, or an hour? For they have other’s to wake up too. Venture out and see why they are calling. Is the sky clear? Is it ocean blue? Lay with them and watch the world as they do. For they obviously have something to talk about.
